There’s something magical about a warm cup of red tea—especially when it’s kissed with spices and herbs. This recipe is one of my personal favorites, perfect for slow mornings or peaceful evenings.



🌿 Ingredients:



  • Hot water
  • Black tea (loose or in bags)
  • Cardamom pods
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Honey (to taste)

  1. In a small teapot or saucepan, add the hot water along with the cardamom, cinnamon, and mint leaves.
  2. Place over medium heat and allow it to gently boil so the flavors infuse beautifully.
  3. Once the water starts boiling, lower the heat and add the black tea.
    ⚠️ Important: Don’t let the tea boil again after adding it—this helps avoid bitterness.
  4. Let it steep for a couple of minutes until it reaches your desired color and strength.
  5. Strain into your favorite istikanas (small tea glasses).
  6. Sweeten with honey as desired and enjoy each sip slowly.
